Why People Choose Clear Aligners
Invisalign aligners have become a popular choice for both adults and teens who want flexibility and subtlety during orthodontic treatment.
- Subtle appearance: Aligners are clear and barely visible.
- Removable design: Eat your favourite foods and brush normally.
- Predictable results: Digital scans map each stage of your tooth movement.
- Shorter timeline: Many mild or moderate cases finish faster than with braces.
However, Invisalign may not be suitable for every type of misalignment. More complex bite or jaw issues may still require traditional orthodontic options.
How the Invisalign Treatment Process Works
Step 1: Consultation and Assessment
Dr. Kaur will evaluate your teeth, bite, and jaw to confirm if Invisalign is a good fit. If so, digital scans or impressions of your teeth are taken to begin your treatment plan.
Step 2: Digital Plan and 3D Preview
Using advanced 3D imaging, Dr. Kaur designs a roadmap for how your teeth will move over time. You may even see a virtual preview of your future smile before starting.
Step 3: Getting Your Custom Aligners
Once the plan is finalized, a series of aligners is created for you. You’ll wear each set for about 1–2 weeks before switching to the next.
Step 4: Wearing and Check-Ups
Aligners should be worn about 20–22 hours per day, removing them only to eat, brush, and floss. Regular check-ups help Dr. Kaur monitor progress and make sure your smile is on track.
Step 5: Completion and Retention
After you’ve finished your last set of aligners, your teeth should be in their desired position. To keep them there, you’ll move to a retainer which is custom-made to maintain your new smile.
